Wouter "Wally" De Backer (nacido el 21 de mayo de 1980 en Brujas, Bélgica), es también conocido con su nombre artístico Gotye. Es un músico, cantante y compositor de rock belga-australiano. Ha ganado siete premios ARIA y ha sido nominado para los MTV EMA como Mejor presentación en Asia y el Pacífico.
